SKL of SGIIT is seeking to fill a number of postdoctoral positions in any area of observational, theoretical, and computational astromtry/astrophysics. Research fields include Galaxy formation and evolution, Astrometry, the structure and evolution of the Milky Way, galactic dynamics, Optics communication, pulsar astrophysics and pulsar timing, gravitational astrophysics, and extra-solar planets. Members of the lab are actively involved in other important international and domestic projects such as SKA, EHT, SDSS-IV, LSST, LAMOST, HXMT, eXTP, and FAST. The astrophysics division employs a mix of Chinese and international researchers, including 38 faculty members, 12 postdocs, and 20 PhD students. The postdoctoral fellowships are intended for active young researchers of all nationalities, and successful applicants are expected to work with one or more of the faculty members listed in the website given above. The appointment is awarded for two years initially, extendable for up to five years, and the start date is flexible. The salary is dependent on qualification and experience.

Faculty positions in Space Astrometry

SKL is seeking to fill three faculty positions in any area of observational, theoretical, and computational astromtry/astrophysics. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree and have a demonstrated record of outstanding research, along with a strong commitment to contribute to graduate education (but no teaching commitment is required). Active researchers of all nationalities are encouraged to apply. The salary and start-up grant will be highly competitive.
